On June 2, victory will be for Q4: Sheinbaum
Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, Morena-PT-PVEM candidate, reaffirmed in Tepic, Nayarit, that on June 2 the victory will be for the Fourth Transformation (4T), and highlighted that this election will mark a milestone in the history of the country.
“I can assure you that we are going to win this June 2that there will be no regressions, that we will continue to advance with our democracy, with our freedoms and, above all, with the well-being of our people,” Sheinbaum emphasized before a crowd.
The candidate stressed that, in addition to the continuity of the 4T, these elections will be historic because they will mark the rise of a woman to the Presidency of Mexico for the first time in 200 years.
“We are going to make history this June 2for two reasons: because we are going to show the world that the transformation in our country is going to continue and because, for the first time, in 200 years, a transformative woman is going to reach the Presidency of the Republic,” stated the former head of Government of Mexico City.
Sheinbaum called not to succumb to the dirty war and vote buying by the opposition, describing it as practices rooted in the PRI and the PAN.
In his speech, he highlighted the 4T’s commitment to the well-being of Mexicans, announcing projects for Nayarit such as the construction of a vehicular bridge in Tepic and improvements in hospital and road infrastructure.
Social programs
Sheinbaum ensured the strengthening of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador’s social programs and the implementation of new initiatives, such as a scholarship for children and support for older women.
The candidate emphasized the importance of mass participation in the elections to consolidate the Fourth Transformation through democracy.
At the event, figures such as Geraldine Ponce, candidate for the municipal presidency of Tepic, and Jasmin Bugarin, candidate for the Senate, highlighted Sheinbaum’s leadership and her fundamental role in the continuity of the 4T project.
