Exist three factions distinct, each with completely different rules and playing styles. The faction Bluefin Squadron and that of Molluscs Union will always be present on the field, while that of smugglers it can only be used when playing with 3 or 4 people.
The top two factions will earn points controlling the different regions of the map at the end of each round, while smugglers will earn points by completing dangerous tasks deliveries. The game will end once a player manages to score 30 points.

All players will be able to count on some basic actions, such as moving their ship on the map, acquiring crew and activating combat. These actions can be exploited spending dice to place on your board, with some value-based restrictions of the dice results.

For example, the Bluefin Squadron are spirited and aggressive, they can raise fortresses and they seek confrontation where possible. The union of Molluscs tends more towards swarmavoiding clashes where possible and can rely on a deck of special cards to be drawn each turn. Smugglers, on the other hand, navigate outside the struggle for territorial control, they must focus on completing as many deliveries as possible, while having the possibility of increasing the point value of the region where they deliver, and speculating on bets at the end of the gamefocused on map control.
