Publisher Behavior Interactive and developer Supermassive Games released the first gameplay trailer single-player cinematic horror game set in the world of Dead by Daylight: The Casting of Frank Stone.
“The world of The Entity is like a book with infinite pages,” said Dave Richard, senior creative director at Behavior Interactive, in a press release. “With a completely different setting, different gameplay and so much more, The Casting of Frank Stone is a way to fill those pages and tell the story of Dead by Daylight in a way we’ve never been able to do before” .
Traci Tufte, executive producer of Supermassive Gamesadded: “In true Supermassive Games style, we are creating an immersive, heart-pounding experience for all players. This is a story that aims to deliver the unexpected at every turn, and it all starts in a small town with a group of young filmmakers making their independent horror film, Murder Mill.”

In addition to the trailer, Behavior Interactive and Supermassive Games have released a series of images you can see in the gallery above. These are small fragments from the trailer available in this news.
Let’s remember that The Casting of Frank Stone is a “cinematic nightmare” for single player which revolves around four friends who, while filming a film, reveal horrors beyond comprehension. Set in the world of Dead by Daylight, this video game puts aside the multiplayer modes to delve into the narrative world created by Behavior Interactive.
The official description reads: “A dark, branching narrative awaits in The Casting of Frank Stone, where player choices are all that stands between life and death for a compelling cast of new characters. The story centers on four friends who In the summer of 1980, they want to make their mark on horror cinema. Unbeknownst to them, what they capture with their 8mm camera will unleash the unthinkable. Over the course of the game, players will have to test their determination and wits by solving environmental puzzles , making impossible decisions and reacting to Quick Time Events as they search for clues that hide the bigger picture.”
As you can see, the structure of the game seems the same as previous Supermassive Games titles, such as The Quarry and Until Dawn.
