PlayStation Portal is going better than expected in the USA, where demand exceeds availability of the handheld for several months now: analyst Mat Piscatella confirmed this on the basis of the findings carried out by Circana.
“I cannot communicate the number of units sold, but the demand has exceeded the availability of PlayStation Portal for several months already and honestly It’s going better than I expected” Piscatella said. “So congratulations to Sony. We’re not talking about incredible numbers, but still very good.”
The best-selling accessory in the USA in February, PlayStation Portal is a device that allows you to stream games from your PS5, and there are those who thought it would be a flop due to the fact that it is not the portable console that many wanted.
A real surprise or a transitory phenomenon?
