The Mexican actor Eugenio Derbez will be Dracula in ‘And they arrived at night‘, the comedy series from the ViX platform that will relive how the original film from 1930 in Spanish language.
The audiovisual content distributor of TelevisaUnivision explained this Tuesday, in a statement with the first images of the comedian dressed as a vampire, that his new production is “inspired by real life” because shows the recording of the movie ‘Dracula’dated 1930, behind the scenes.

“While (actor) Béla Lugosi was filming ‘Dracula’ during the day at Universal Studios, at the end of each day another cast and crew came to make the exact same movie, but in Spanish,” he described.
This second cast “filmed from dusk to dawn” and, despite the obstacles, “the critical consensus is that the Spanish version is better,” he said.
‘And they came at night’ It will be available on ViX this 2024but the producer has not yet given a specific date.
With this series, Derbez returns to doing television comedy in Spanish after ‘La Familia Peluche’, which he starred in more than 10 years ago, and he also does it from the administrative side: his company 3Pas Studios is part of the executive production.
“We are looking for a different, fun and even inspiring story,” declared the actor, who was excited to have gotten the production to “the level we were looking for.”
