ALZARA Radiant Echoes, a colorful homage to classic Japanese RPGs

With a presentation dedicated to the press, we were able to discover something in advance about it ALZARA Radiant Echoesa Turn-based RPG developed by Studio Camelia which arrives today on Kickstarter. It is a title that wants to pay homage to, and above all is inspired by, the classics 3D Japanese RPGswhich combines a compelling narrative and gameplay that is both distinctive and innovative.

As said, from the campaign starts today for the crowdfunding of the French studio’s project, and so let’s look at it a little more closely. Know, first of all, that the ideas taken for some of the game’s features were masterpieces such as Final Fantasy, Gloden Sun, Lost Odyssey and the world of Avatars.

A RPG with a “Mediterranean flavour”

ALZARA Radiant Echoes is a title where players will explore an archipelago in a world that is on the brink of war, immersed in settings openly inspired by Mediterranean panoramas (without a specific country). In these paradisiacal places, the stories of four different heroes will intersect, who will experience the harsh reality of an invasion, and the players together with them will learn how important the concepts of moral, sharingand above all of consequences of actions.

The four protagonist heroes have four very particular and distinct personalities, as well as possessing peculiar abilities. Furthermore, each of them masters the elemental magic of a specific element, to fight and to overcome obstacles in their way (even through environmental puzzles). They will also be able to share their magicto create new elements and adapt to the situation (a bit like what happens in Genshin Impact).

The four heroes at work!

The characters we will control will be synergistic, and as already mentioned, all with their own particularities:

• Kayla will master the element of fireinstructor from the capital of Taqsim, strong and determined, and with friends who are the most important thing of all for her.
• Adil will master the element of wind, a diplomatic, good-looking, energetic and perceptive student. With persuasion he is second to none.
• Nakheel she is a venerable sage, despite her young age. She masters the element ofwaterfalland sets off to fight the threats that jeopardize the archipelago.
• Hugust is a veteran soldier, who masters the element of Earth. His worst enemy is the idea he has of himself. First lonely and looking for a reason to live, he begins his journey in a group that will restore his self-confidence, and that will see his true value.

One of the most interesting things will be the combat, and as already mentioned the various elements will be fundamental. Each hero will have a range of related spells to your element. The latter will also have their own archetypesas offensive, defensive and of support. However, as already mentioned, the elements can be combined, creating new tactics and new elements.

There will be turn-based combat strategicnot only because some enemies will require more than simply looking for your elemental weakness, but also because it will fundamental also there field arrangement of our heroes. In fact, these can be exchanged between offensive or support roles, and can be exchanged with the defensive line to recover energy.

It doesn’t end there, because as it should be, there is also a battle resource called “Echo” (equivalent of mana), and above all… the possibility of perform evocations!

Honorable participations

The artistic sectoras mentioned, promises to be incredible colored visually, and spectacularly so immersive from that auditory. Among other things, it was also announced in previews that there are some real exceptional names within the team: the materials and details of the personages they are in fact curated by the Japanese artist Yoshiro Ambe (Genshin Impact, Fire Emblem Heroes, Trials of Mana), and the soundtrack is in the hands of none other than Motoi Sakuraba (Dark Souls, Golden Sun).
