Double Dagger Studio has announced that its feline simulator – Little Kitty, Big City – has sold 100,000 units within the first few 48 hours from the exit.
Obviously it’s not a huge achievement in absolute value, but relative to the scope of the project it’s notable, especially considering that the game is also available on Game Passso there will be a good portion of players who have had the opportunity to venture into the city of Little Kitty, Big City at no additional cost.
The announcement, as you can see above, took place via Twitter where the Little Kitty, Big City team wrotetranslated: “My-wow! We sold 100,000 units in 48 hours? You guys are AMAZING. Thank you so much for playing our game!!!”
What is Little Kitty, Big City?
Little Kitty, Big City puts us in the shoes (obviously) of a little cat that has to explore a big city. Our black cat is taking a nap, but accidentally falls from his hiding place and finds himself lost in the chaotic streets of the city. Our ultimate goal is to return home but… why not take a little detour too?
In this relaxing adventure suitable for all ages the aim is to explore and discover what is nearby, finding missions to complete, secrets to discover and even animals to help. We will be able to carry out small misdeeds (cats have a certain tendency to annoy people, right?) and obtain various headgear to wear to personalize our feline.
Little Kitty, Big City is available from May 9th on PC, XBox and Nintendo Switchalso on Game Pass as already indicated.
