Hades recently achieved a new record number of users on Steam thanks to Hades 2 launches: the situation is rather particular but has its own logic, given that we have often seen the previous chapters of the franchises obtain boosts in visibility and popularity with the release of the sequels.
As we have seen, Hades 2 is doing great in its early access on Steam, having exceeded 100,000 concurrent players and with excellent reviews from users, which is uncommon for a title launched in early access and therefore in fact still not complete and in progress.
Evidently, this success of the second chapter has also dragged the progenitor, which has received a notable boost in recent days, setting its own record of users connected simultaneously just in the last few hours.
One record leads to another
As reported by SteamDB, Hades set his own record with 52,195 users connected simultaneouslysurpassing the previous one that was recorded just yesterday and with a trend that continues to be positive.
In fact, Hades has been setting new records for five days now, with peaks that are increasing day by day and it is therefore probable that other goals will be achieved shortly, further improving performance.
In fact, it remains one of the best titles in the action roguelite genre and if you want you can learn more about the differences between the first and second chapters in our special on all the ways in which Hades 2 is different from the first.
