After meeting with the head of the CFE, Manuel Barttlet, President AMLO assured that the problem of blackouts is already being addressed, and efforts will be made to ensure that there is no major widespread damage.
“We are already addressing the problem, telling people that we are going to make sure there is no major damagewidespread,” he said from the National Palace in his daily meeting with the press.
President López Obrador indicated that the blackouts were due to demand, due to heat wavesit has to be regulated, since increased to a thousand megawatts more than usual in the last days.
