After the legendary Porsche ‘Rexy’, AO Racing will have another of its pets at the start of the 24h of Le Mans for the 2024 edition.
Having obtained the invitation from the FIA and Automobile Club de l’Ouest to race in the LMP2 class, the Chicago team has reached an agreement with TF Sport for the preparation of the Oreca which lines up with the #14 to attack the Pro subcategory /Am.
Another of his very successful liveries could therefore not be missing, with the little dragon ‘Spike’ who will now face another great endurance race after making his debut at the 24h of Daytona.

“Racing ‘Rexy’ at Le Mans for the Centenary was an incredible experience, but we have some unfinished business at the Circuit de la Sarthe,” said PJ Hyett, driver and owner of AO Racing who will envy the wheel of the 07-Gibson together with Louis Delétraz and Alex Quinn.
“We’ll be back this year with Spike, our LMP2 dragon, to delight the fans and chase first place! Let’s go!”
Tom Ferrier, owner of TF Sport, adds: “We are thrilled to bring our collaboration with AO Racing to Le Mans. It’s a fantastic event and we have a brilliant line-up. PJ is one of the best Bronze drivers in the world and with Alex and Louis we have two other great drivers. 24 Hours race is always difficult, but we plan to be there at the end and fight for the victory.”
