During his La Mañanera conference this Tuesday, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador said that received the request from the Electoral Court for edit morning lectures and reported that they will send a letter to guide them and comply with the resolution.
“We received confirmation from the Electoral Court for the Morning or Morning conferences to be published, the issue is that let’s send a letter today because it is impossible to edit them, how do we edit them? they would have us guide because they are not talking about removing them, it is not censorship,” the president said from the National Palace.
“They themselves decided that it is part of our freedom of expression,” he said.
He explained that the councilors decided that they had to be edited but that they will go to them to find out how they edit them since he indicated that They have always complied with the Court’s resolutions.
“The Court held that yes, that they would have to be edited (…) to help us interpret what they resolved, how we edit the conferences because we want to comply, we have always complied,” said López Obrador.
Likewise, he proposed that when a conference ends, upload them and 24 hours later download them and resume them after the elections.
He asked that “they tell us promptly, come down. Or the other is that give us the opportunity to have it complete one day”. AMLO analyzed that the Las Mañaneras conferences will be “in the public domain” when his government ends.
