Le Havre strengthened its chances of remaining among the elite, when it achieved an important victory over its guest, Strasbourg, 3-1, in the 32nd round of the French Football League.
The hosts owe their victory to Moroccan midfielder Yacine Kishta, who scored the first two goals in the 24th and 65th minutes, before Ghanaian veteran Andre Ayew secured the score (96), while Federic Gilbert scored the visitors’ goal (86).
This is the first time that Kesha has scored in the league this season, after he had previously assisted one goal in the 2-1 win over Toulouse, in the eleventh round, while Ayew scored his fifth goal.
Le Havre raised its score to 32 points, temporarily three points ahead of 16th Metz, which is threatened with relegation, while Strasbourg remained in the struggle for survival, after its score froze at 36 points in thirteenth place.
