Today, Saturday, the Sharjah Government Oil Council announced the discovery of a new gas discovery in the “Hadiba” field, located north of the “Al Sajaa” field in Sharjah, in promising economic quantities, according to what was reported by the official account of the Sharjah Government Media Office on the “X” platform (formerly Twitter). .
The account added, “The new field was discovered after the Sharjah National Oil Corporation (SNOC) drilled a well in the past months, and the well will be tested in the coming period to confirm the quantities and potential reserves of the field for development.”
It is noteworthy that the “Hadiba” field is the fifth onshore field in Sharjah, in addition to the “Al-Saja’a, Kahif, Mahani and Muayed fields (converted to a gas storage field).”
