Ipswich Town returned to the English Premier League, after defeating its guest Huddersfield Town 2-0 today in the final round of the English Championship League.
Ipswich, which includes Egyptian star Sam Morsi among its ranks, succeeded in returning to the Premier League for the first time in 22 years, while Huddersfield were relegated to the second division.
Wes Burns put Ipswich ahead with a goal in the 27th minute, then Omari Hutchinson added the second goal in the 48th minute. The victory raised Ipswich’s tally to 96 points in second place, one point behind leaders Leicester City, who had previously secured a return to the Premier League.
