Abdullah Jassim, a cyclist for the Emirates Professional Team, won first place in the state individual time trial race, for the U-23 category, which was held in the Nizwa area in Sharjah, with the participation of 4 clubs, and for a distance of 33 km. The race was organized by the Cycling Federation for the U-23 and youth categories. And young women.
Abdullah Jassim succeeded in completing the race distance of 33 km in a time of 41:19 minutes, ahead of Hamdan Ahmed, the second-placed Shabab Al-Ahly cyclist, who finished the race in a time of 45:44 minutes, and Saeed Habash, also from Shabab Al-Ahly Club, came in third place. With a time of 47:18 minutes.
In the youth race, Hareb Al Marzouqi, a cyclist from the Abu Dhabi Cycling Club, achieved first place in the race in which 19 cyclists from 7 clubs participated, for a distance of 20 km. His colleague Khaled Al Nuaimi came in second place, and Ahmed Nasser, also from the Abu Dhabi Club, came in second place.
In the young women’s category, Al-Nasr’s Marwa Salman won the state individual time trial race, Renad Ahmed from the Abu Dhabi Cycling Club came in second place, then Al-Nasr’s Alia Hussein came in third.
Khalifa Bin Omair, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Cycling Federation, honored the players who won the race cup and medals, in the presence of a large number of club officials participating in the race.
