Fire devastates the apartment: 6-year-old boy tries to save his 3-year-old brother, but the toll is dramatic

USA – A drama within a drama, the news comes from Clifton, Virginia, where two little brothers aged 3 and 6 lost their lives in a fire that broke out in their home. The event occurred on April 10, but the Italian press only reported it a few hours ago.

A heroic gesture left neither of them a chance, the children died in hospital due to the traumatic injuries they sustained. The causes of the fire are not clear yet, but it seems to have caught the entire family off guard.

The Fire Brigade and the emergency services, promptly alerted by the inhabitants, quickly went upstairs where they found Williamsix years old, hugging the little one Zachariah just three years old. Unfortunately, despite the rush to the hospital, there was nothing that could be done.

The parents made the painful, but noble decision to donate organs of the little brothers so that they can save other lives and that the sacrifice of the eldest is not in vain. “We donated them with the hope that their hearts could beat in someone else.”

“It was extremely painful because we could still hear their heart beating. We saw that they were improving, but in the end they didn't make it.”

The family was overwhelmed by a wave of affection, for this reason the parents of the children have now decided to launch an appeal to other parents. The hope is that everyone can enjoy the days with their children and not miss even a minute with them.
