It has already taken placeweather alert for what will be tomorrow, Sunday 28 April 2024. A strong hydrogeological risk is in fact expected for our peninsula and it seems that three regions are at high risk. In fact, storms and serious threats are expected across the national territory.

Let's try to better understand what could happen.

Yellow weather alert in Italy: Sunday 28 April marked by hydrogeological risk

The climate of 2024 is becoming quite mysterious, as is the weather forecast who doesn't seem to want to help us at all. Towards the end of March we witnessed the arrival of aanomalous heat wave which gave us a really early taste of summer.

In the space of a few weeks, however, the turnaround was so drastic collapse temperatures beyond belief. Some regions have requested to be able to turn the heating back on which, rightly, had been turned off as happens every year.

Not to mention the cold and wind that have been accompanying many Italian regions for days now and which just don't seem to want to offer us respite. Precisely for this reason, the Civil protection has decided to launch ayellow weather warning which will cover various areas of Italy. Among these, however, three appear to be particularly at risk.

Three Italian regions at hydrogeological risk: here they are

Among all the Italian regions, three appear to be particularly exposed to hydrogeological risk for what will be Sunday 28 April. There are three of them regions of Northern Italy that is Lombardy, Piedmont and Valle d'Aosta.

In these areas the weather will be truly disconcerting, which is why the hydrogeological risk and possible storms would be around the corner. To risk more Lombardy the areas of Valchienna, Lario and the western Alps area.

In Piedmont the situation will be critical in Valsesia, Valchiusella, Toce, Cervo and in the northern plain. A lot of fear also regarding the Valle d'Aosta which, in fact, will be entirely subject to the power of bad weather.

For what concern Southern Italy instead, the situation will tend to improve in the afternoon, when temperatures approaching 25 and 28 °C will be reached. Experts also state that strong and abundant showers could occur towards the evening snowfall in the northern areas, most likely in the West. We therefore urge maximum caution.
