Ferrari dreams of a new Melbourne
F1 is preparing to make a stop in the United States for the first time – of the three scheduled – in 2024 for the Miami Grand Prix. There Ferrari in Florida it will show off a celebratory livery and will run branded with the new title sponsor HP (Hewlett-Packard).
In the previous two editions it was Max Verstappen, beating the Ferraris in 2022 and with an inexorable comeback a year ago by starting from the center of the group. The Red Bull driver has so far obtained five consecutive pole positions in 2024, but according to Helmut Marko it will not be easy to continue in a row in Miami. Ferrari hopes to make up for the dull weekend in China on a track with similar characteristics to Albert Park in Melbourne where the SF-24s achieved a double (Carlos Sainz has in fact indicated Miami, Monaco, Monza and Singapore as the four tracks on which Ferrari can beat Red Bull).
