“It's going well, but there's a lot to do.” For the first time since she revealed to the world that she suffers from stiff person syndrome, a rare neurological disorder, lCanadian singer Celine Dion spoke about her illness in an interview exclusive to Vogue France.
The 56-year-old artist, who was diagnosed with the syndrome in the fall of 2022, is forced to undergo “athletic, physical and vocal therapy” for five days a week, during which she works on both her body and her voice.
“I haven't fought the disease, it's still inside me and always will be,” he confided to Vogue France Celine Dion, who always hopes for a cure. “We will find, I hope, a miracle, a way to cure it with scientific research but I have to learn to live with it.”
When asked if she plans to return to the stage, the singer explained that she was unable to answer. “I don't know,” the artist said of which Vogue France she also published several photos wearing clothes from many French designers. “My body will tell me.”
