Jennifer Prudencio did not worry about the health of her 3-year-old son
The sad story happened last April 6th and in a few days it spread to every part of the world, triggering the anger of millions of users. Jennifer Prudencioa 25-year-old mother, left her chronically ill 3-year-old child in the care of her other two children aged 7 and 8 to spend an evening out drinking with friends.
Over the course of the night, the two minors tried several times to call their mother and send her messages to let her know that her 3-year-old brother he needed her. The authorities, after investigation, discovered that although she read her children's request, she only returned home the next morning.
Throughout the night, as reported by CBS News, Jennifer remained in a club drinking, and then spend the night with a guy. When she returned home on the morning of April 7, she found the baby Yael Guardardo Prudencio now lifeless.
The child had health problems, the woman had often taken him to hospital suffering from convulsions. Not only that, local authorities reported that Yael was suffering from haemophiliaa rare genetic disease caused by a deficiency of certain blood proteins, which can lead to sudden bleeding.
The two older children explained to the officers that their little brother had felt ill and had vomited several times, even before their mother left the house. The autopsy also revealed a head traumawhich however remained without an explanation.
After inspecting the cell phones, the police discovered that the 8-year-old son had sent a video to the mother, to show her little Yael's behavior. She, however, had reassured him. She would be home soon. Which, unfortunately, she didn't do.

The defendant admitted that during the night she received a message from her son and that despite this, she decided to stay out for the night.
The woman's lawyer reported that her client is distraught and that she has never been followed up by social workers. She has pleaded guilty and she will face charges of negligent crime and reckless endangerment. The judge set a bail of $100,000rejecting the defense's proposal of $10,000 bail.
