Formula 1 has just returned from China, but in a sport where the goal is to be as fast as possible, Ferrari is already looking to the next round, Miami. There is a lot to learn from the Shanghai GP, because the final result did not correspond to the Cavallino's expectations before the start of the weekend, but on the other hand it is also important to look ahead, to what will be the next stage in the United States United.
Ferrari will present itself in Miami with the aim of reopening the hunt for the podium, which it missed for the first time during this season in China, but it will also do so with a new livery, which only for this event will feature a touch of blue .
Already last year, Ferrari celebrated one of the three races in the USA with a livery paying homage to the past on the occasion of the Las Vegas Grand Prix, with white details that recreated a link with the history of the Scuderia in the Seventies.
The experiment received positive opinions from the fans and the Cavallino company decided to replicate it in Miami too: it is no mystery that the American stages are an important stage for the teams, both economically and in terms of image, which is why often in recent years they have been presented with revised colors to adapt to the place.

All this is part of a program created by Ferrari in the United States which will start on April 28th with the Cavalcade International, a trip organized directly by the Italian company for its customers, which will cross Tennessee and Florida in towards Miami, right where the Formula 1 Grand Prix will be held.
Accompanying this journey will be two colours, Azzurro La Plata and Azzurro Dino, dating back to the origins of Ferrari's history: in the next few days these shades rich in memory will resume their place, from the racing world to sports cars, to celebrate a tradition by reinterpreting it with today's gaze.
As confirmed by the Cavallino brand itself, the two shades of blue will also be present on the special livery that the SF-24 will use for the Miami race and which will be revealed in Florida.

According to the Ferrari archives, the Azzurro La Plata, the national color of the Argentine teams' cars, was similar to the shade that Alberto Ascari brought to racing in his winning seasons. The Italian two-time world champion in fact used to wear a blue shirt with a matching helmet, which were his good luck charms. The same color were the suits of the drivers in the Sixties, such as John Surtees and Lorenzo Bandini, Ludovico Scarfiotti and Chris Amon. Niki Lauda's suit in his first year with the Scuderia was also of that shade, as were the overalls of the Maranello workers.
The other color that Ferrari wanted to rediscover for Miami is Azzurro Dino, a deeper blue that attracted the attention of several Scuderia drivers and in particular Arturo Merzario and Clay Regazzoni, the last to wear it in 1974. then, on the pilots' suits, blue gave way to red, and sometimes white.
The color choice is also a historical reference to the bond between Ferrari and the American racing world, in the year of the 70th anniversary of the brand's presence overseas. Here the Rosso Corsa, a shade that had characterized Italian racing cars since the 1920s, gave way to the white-blue of the United States in the last two races of the 1964 F1 season, a combination also used for other North American cars Racing Team (NART) founded by importer Luigi Chinetti.
