Few desserts enjoy the fame and acceptance that cheesecake enjoys. A sweet temptation that stars in championships and even has its own World Day. The furor over this snack is not surprising if you consider the countless versions in circulation: baked, refrigerated, covered with jam, without frills on the surface, ground with cookies, brushed with Nutella and even converted into a Baklava.
Its origin dates back to Ancient Greece, although some historians date its birth to the Neolithic, when sheep began to be domesticated. Since then, this recipe has undergone all kinds of innovations, experimenting with its textures, ingredients and even its morphology. While it is true that the most refined proposals require time and baking experience, there are express options that kill the craving in an instant.
Recipe
One of the alternatives that avoids the oven and requires few ingredients is the cup cheesecake, which gives a mini portion of sweetness in just a few minutes. To improve its aesthetics, it is recommended that the container be made of glass, since in this way the different plants that make the dessert can be visualized.
The first step is to crush six Maria cookies and mix them with a tablespoon of melted butter. This will be the base of the glass, so you have to flatten the compound well so that the upper layers do not seep into the cookie. Next, add about 90 grams of cream cheese, 90 grams of whipping cream, two tablespoons of powdered sugar and half a tablespoon of vanilla essence to a bowl. After mixing all these ingredients for a minute, add it to the cup. It is advisable that this mixture takes up almost all of the content, leaving approximately one finger for the last layer.
Finally, the strawberry jam is placed on the surface. As a decoration, you can cut some fruit, such as blueberries or raspberries, to place it on top. At this point, the candy is ready to be consumed. If you are looking for a more compact snack, you could put it in the refrigerator for a few minutes.
