F1 China, Vasseur disappointed with qualifying
It wasn't a sweet morning for the fans Ferrari. “We are not very satisfied, it was a chaotic session and we expected a better result, honestly. There was a lot of inconsistency for everyone from one session to the next and we struggled too much today, but at least this morning we had a good pace over the long distance and we hope to be able to recover tomorrow“, this is his comment to Sky Sports F1. “The race will be long and everyone had a fair amount of degradation this morning, plus we were in good condition at the end of the stint. We were in good condition in that part of the lap, but now 70% of the gap to Verstappen was there“, he continued.
“Overall it wasn't the result we expected, but we can recover tomorrow. We are always scoring points on Sunday, while last year when we were strong on Saturday, Sundays were difficult. We made a good improvement in the race and we should be able to recover tomorrow: definitely The degradation will be very important, if we manage to manage it well we will have the opportunity to return to the podium.
