Team Fortress 2 has been updated with the addition of the official support to the 64-bit. In short, after seventeen years Valve continues to improve the game, also because it is still one of the most played titles on Steam, despite the fact that it is no longer in the news as it once was.
Active Team Fortress 2 players have described the new update as the most significant in a few years, with huge improvements in performance for most users. According to the stories that are multiplying on the official forum, the framerate has increased by 20% on most systems.
What about bots?
Team Fortress 2 was launched in 2007 on PC and on the consoles of the time as part of the Orange Box and still today boasts peaks of contemporary players which at certain times of the week manage to exceed 100,000 units, more than many modern titles.
Despite these numbers, Valve has marginalized it a bit compared to greater successes such as Dota 2 and, above all, Counter Strike. Currently the problem most felt by players is that of bots, which have been asked for a solution for years… the same years for which Valve has turned a deaf ear.
