The person detained as the alleged perpetrator of the murder of Audrey Fang, the woman found in Abanilla, was brought to justice this Friday after being arrested on Tuesday. The arrested person, a Singaporean national like the victim, is accused of having stabbed to death the 39-year-old woman, whose disappearance had been reported on April 9. The investigating court number 3 is in charge of the investigations.
Relatives of the victim who came from Singapore went to the Institute of Legal Medicine this Thursday to identify the woman's body. The three relatives, immersed in deep pain, are receiving help and support from the consulate of the Asian country in Spain.
Audrey Fang, a 39-year-old architect, was traveling to Spain. She stayed on April 4 in a luxury hotel in the Alicante municipality of Jávea and was due to return to her country on the 12th. But she didn't get to catch the plane. The last image we have of the Singaporean tourist was captured by a camera at the hotel where she was staying, on April 9, at 8:45 p.m.
