Among many mod that still come out for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrimthe one entitled The Tempest Isledeveloped by modder Cryptdick, represents one of the most interesting proposals released recently, presenting itself as a sort of real maxi-expansion.
The Tempest Isle is a rich package that adds a significant amount of content to Skyrim, introducing a new story complete with fully voiced dialogue, new characters and additional and new main and secondary quests.
There is also a presentation trailer, shown above, which shows something of the new adventures added.
You can find it at this address on NexusModsavailable from today in complete form, except obviously for further additions and adjustments to be applied later.
A kind of expansion
This is the work of a single person and is obviously not comparable to much larger and deeper rework operations, but The Tempest Isle is still very interesting for the fact that it adds something completely new to a game known as The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
Inside we find a completely new story with “multiple quests and characters interesting”, as well as new items, spells, enemy variants, environmental objects and more, all crafted by hand, along with a new setting with handcrafted dungeons.
To demonstrate the considerable care put into the project, there are also many present dubbed dialogues by various collaborators, which represents a further element of immersion in this sort of artisanal expansion of Skyrim.
