Plot
On Isla Nublar, the island where the Jurassic World park has been abandoned for six months now, a team of mercenaries uses a submarine to recover DNA from the skeleton of the Indominus rex, whose remains lie at the bottom of the park's old lagoon. Mistakenly convinced that the Mosasaur has been dead for some time, the team enters the tank and achieves their objective by taking a rib which is immediately sent to the surface. During the operation a gigantic shape emerges from the darkness of the sea and attacks the submarine, shattering it. At the same time, the second unit on the surface, having recovered the bone fragment, is attacked by the Tyrannosaurus rex and, forced to flee, abandons the controls of the gate of the lagoon fence, thus allowing the marine predator to head towards the open sea. A helicopter rescues the soldiers but one of them loses his life by falling into the jaws of the mosasaur. Two years later in Washington a US Senate hearing discusses whether the dinosaurs of Isla Nublar should be saved from an imminent volcanic eruption…
