The association between the administration of Covid-19 vaccines and sudden myocarditis in adolescents and young adults is not supported by scientific data. This is what emerges from the latest study published on April 11 by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
The survey, conducted in the state of Oregon between June 2021 and December 2022, is contained in the latest “Morbidity & Mortality Weekly Report” from the US CDC, which shows that there is no proven relationship between sudden cardiac deaths among young people and the vaccination anti-Covid.
The study arose from reports of some suspected cases of myocarditis that arose in young males after the administration of the Covid-19 vaccine that arrived in April 2021 to the “Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System” of the US CDC.
Researchers have begun to investigate the association between Covid vaccination and myocarditis among adolescents and young adults and possible related cases of deaths.
The death certificates of Oregon residents between the ages of 16 and 30 who died between June 2021 and December 2022 from heart-related or unknown conditions were examined. Then, scientists looked at deaths among those in the state's vaccine registry.
Among the 1,292 deaths identified, 40 involved people who had received at least one dose of the mRNA Covid vaccine. Of these, however, only 3 occurred within 100 days following vaccination: two of the three deaths already suffered from chronic pathologies and for only one deceased it was not possible to identify a certain cause of death.
Therefore, according to the authors of the research, the data “do not support an association between the administration of the mRNA anti-Covid vaccine and sudden cardiac death among young subjects previously considered healthy”.
“For the benefit of the usual dunces: yet another study that objectively demonstrates (numbers in hand) how vaccination against Covid has nothing to do with the sudden illnesses of young people,” he said. commented Professor Roberto Burioni, professor of Microbiology and Virology at the Vita-Salute San Raffaele University of Milan, on social media. “It's time to resign ourselves to the fact that the Earth is not flat.”
“What do we discover with serious and well-conducted studies? That sudden deaths are more frequent among those not vaccinated for Covid-19,” he said annotated always on social media Matteo Bassetti, director of the Infectious Diseases Clinic of the San Matteo Polyclinic in Genoa. “And now what will the usual charlatans say?”.
