In a movement that has generated outrage and concern in Mexicohe officialdom ha proposed a measure that constitutes a real heist to the working class of the country and the breakdown of the constitutional order.
The initiative of Brunette pretends that the government discretionally disposes of the resources of the Afores of people over 70 years of age who have not claimed their fundswith the objective of to finance in the short term the presidential occurrenceswhich reconfirms the pillage what they have done to the treasury and the illegality of their actions.
The system of Retirement Fund Administrators (Afores) has been a fundamental piece in the planning of the withdrawal of millions of Mexican workers. Through these institutions, savings are channeled for use in the retirement. However, the proposal of Brunette puts at risk the financial security of the older adults.
The intention to modify seven laws has been harshly criticized by various sectors of society, as we consider it a true theft from the pockets of Mexicans and a flagrant violation of their property rights.
Use the resources of the Afores improperly and without the consent of its legitimate owners represents a serious risk for the pension system as a whole, opening the door to possible abuses by the authorities and calling into question trust in financial institutions and in the State of Right.
Faced with this controversial proposal, it is essential that Mexican society and the country's democratic institutions defend the rights of workers, as well as legality in the management of public resources. It is unacceptable that the savings of older people are intended to be used illegitimately to finance government projects, regardless of their viability or legality.
Older adults deserve respect and protection in their retirement years, and any attempt to violate their rights must be rejected forcefully and by the majority.
It is necessary for society to firmly oppose this measure and demand unrestricted respect for the rule of law.
Brunette It is leaving the country and Mexican families bankrupt.
The Social Security Commission of the Chamber of Deputies is called to meet on Monday and analyze this issue. For the good of Mexico, this dangerous occurrence should not happen and should be sent to where it deserves: the legislative garbage dump.
