Majority Bowfell Plus 2.1, compact design and connectivity
The immediately striking aspect of this soundbar is certainly its design, very compact and quite small in size compared to other similar ones. The subwoofer also respects this characteristic, deliberately sought by Majority, making the Majority Bowfell Plus 2.1 a soundbar that is also very suitable for those who do not have much space to dedicate to another workstation on their desk.
Translating the word “compact” into numbers, we have the following measurements: 38.8 x 5.43 x 7.21 cm for the soundbar e 9 x 22.4 x 30.8 cm for the subwoofer, while to the eye, the Majority Bowfell Plus 2.1 presents itself simple and elegantalmost entirely made of plastic, with a minimally invasive Majority writing on the top, the control panel on the right side and the connectivity sockets on the back.
Speaking of the control panel, we find the keys turning on and off, and those for increasing or decreasing the volumewhile the presence of the line in input for the jack seemed a bit strange to us, given that the rest of the connectivity is found on the back, where we also find a USB portthe entrance to the optical cable and the one for nutrition. Furthermore, in terms of connectivity, the Majority Bowfell Plus 2.1 features Bluetooth 5.0 technology.
The remote control
The remote control one is definitely a great addition for this soundbar, and will need 2 AAA batteries to work. On it we find several buttons:
- On/off;
- mute mode;
- mode change;
- dial button to adjust the volume and scroll through multimedia songs;
- movie mode;
- speech mode;
- music mode;
- treble adjustment;
- bass adjustment;
- reset.
So many options that make using the Majority Bowfell Plus 2.1 immediatealthough unfortunately several options for greater customization of the audio experience are missing.
Sound quality of the Majority Bowfell Plus 2.1
In addition to the two satellite speakers, This soundbar integrates a subwoofer which, although qualitatively different from the dedicated ones, still manages to do an excellent job during audio reproduction, creating an audio depth effect and sound cleanlinesseven at fairly high volume levels.
This depth of sound is very noticeable above all in gaming sessionsbut it doesn't look out of place when playing films and music, where thanks to the controls integrated in the remote control, we can tinker enough until we find optimal playback. To reel off another sound statistic, the Majority Bowfell Plus 2.1 It has a frequency range ranging from 30Hz to 20KHz.
During tests in both gaming sessions and cinema evenings, the soundbar provided a clean sound that, for its price range, it is well above averagemanaging to clearly reproduce every sound and especially speech. Even at high volumes no distorted effects were notedbut the Majority Bowfell Plus 2.1 has maintained the clean sound that we are praising so much, significantly increasing immersion in both gaming and cinema.
