We have always maintained that the exceeding spending limits is one of the necessary measures to guarantee the sustainability and universality of the National Health Service“. This was declared by the president of the Fnopi (National Federation of Orders of Nursing Professions), Barbara Mangiacavallicommenting on the amendment, signed by the majority forces, to the Pnrr decree, which exceeds the spending limit currently in force for hiring doctors and health and social care professionals with fixed-term or flexible contracts.
“There nursing profession is the one that has the highest number of fixed-term contracts – adds Mangiacavalli – Thanks to this provision it will be possible to reduce the use of atypical work arrangements, which have not produced any cost containment, and also contribute to reducing waiting lists. We thank you for this Ministry of Health and the parliamentarians who signed the amendment”.
