Every year 60 thousand citizens of Lombardy are affected by cancer, 40% of which could be avoided by correcting bad lifestyles. Prevention is confirmed as the watchword, as long as it is personalized and active. Breast, lung and colorectal cancers are the most widespread; intercepting them before they appear is the new frontier in the fight against cancer. This is what emerged from a national conference promoted by the Lombardy Region at Pirellone on the new frontiers of oncological research, an opportunity for experts to illustrate the alarming data responsible for the onset of numerous diseases, in particular cardiovascular and oncological ones.
