Not just Fiat at Mirafiori. The theme of incentivized exits that has touched Stellantis in recent weeks has also concerned the Modena plant Maserati: the Italian-French group announced in fact 150 incentivized exits at the Trident brand's Modena plant.
The position of the unions
The agreement was signed and countersigned by all trade unions, with the exception of Fiom-Cgil. The reason? “It is yet another sign of the divestment of Stellantis in Italy”, the union says. To tell the truth, even the unions who decided to sign the agreement did not say they were fully convinced of the operation.
Fim, Uilm and Aqcf, which unlike Fiom-Cgil have given their green light to the incentivized exits mentioned above, have in fact underlined how with this agreement the objective of give Maserati time. “But now we ask stop vague promises“, they added.
Over 150 incentivized exits
According to what was reported by Repubblica on newsstands this morning, the numbers relating to incentivized exits are a little bigger: in fact, in addition to the 150 at Maserati, out of 600 on staff, there are another 23 who work outside the perimeter of Maserati but within the Stellantis group. Of all these, more than 130 are engineers and designers.
