After rumors regarding a possible announcement of Gears 6 at the Xbox Games Showcase in June, the well-known insider Shinobi602 also returned to the charge, suggesting that the new title of The Coalition will be Graphically better than the already impressive Hellblade 2to the point that the “people are not ready.”
The “deep throat” launched this indiscretion via the ResetEra forum, where in response to the new images of Hellblade 2 he declared:
“Wait until you see Gears. People aren't ready.”
Clearly take everything with a pinch of salt, considering among other things that the game in question hasn't even been officially announced yet. Moreover, this “tip off” could simply be a guess by Shinobi602, based on the fact that the Gears of War series has always been the graphic reference point of Xbox's internal productions and, in general, one of the most important within the industry.
Will we find out the truth in June?
As mentioned at the beginning of the news, yesterday Jeff Grubb, a well-known journalist and insider, suggested that news will arrive on Gears 6 during the summer, even simply in the form of an announcement via a teaser trailer.
In this sense, the event to keep an eye on is undoubtedly the Xbox Games Showcase set by Microsoft for the month of June, notoriously the most important green-crusader showcase of the year where the new projects in progress at the Xbox Studios are presented and updates on those coming to the Xbox ecosystem in the coming months. In short, as far as Gears 6 is concerned, we will find out if in addition to the smoke there is also some roast within a couple of months.
