Wuthering Waves: release date for the new free gacha RPG in the footsteps of Genshin Impact

Kuro Games has announced the exit date Of Wuthering Waveswhich is new action RPG with gacha elements for PC and mobile platforms, intending to take on the challenge against Genshin Impact and arriving on May 22, 2024 in the West.

Wuthering Waves is an action RPG open world which stages the story of Rover, a traveler and adventurer who finds himself having to take part in a great adventure full of quests with a varied cast of characters called “Resonators”, to be found and conquered along the way.

Rover awakens, without any memories, in a post-apocalyptic world, where the Lament has destroyed the civilization of the past. Humanity has partially recovered, but within this new scenario there is room for a large amount of threats to be foiled, which lead to stories and adventures to follow.

In short, the background is somewhat typical, with the forgetful protagonist who must rediscover his memories and take part in various quests that will probably lead to saving the world, one region at a time, as we usually see in titles of this type.

A long journey

Since this is a gacha, there will be one here too large amount of characters to find and add to your party, between those that will be unlocked simply by progressing through the game and those that will require investments of in-game currency and microtransactions, through a formula that is continuing to enjoy considerable success.

Also in this case, in the cast we can expect a notable amount of “waifus” and fighters for every taste, all represented with the inevitable anime style, even with a certain amount of care from what we can see from the trailer shown above.

Wuthering Waves also promises a fast and dynamic combat system, which should make the gameplay definitely pleasant and accessible to everyone as a first approach, except then reserving the necessary depths to be discovered along the way.
