Today, Good Friday, 29 March 2024, at 8.30 pm on Rai 1 a special of Porta a Porta with Bruno Vespa entitled The war in the land of Jesus will be broadcast. The special will accompany viewers to the Via Crucis from the Colosseum presided over by Pope Francis, and broadcast worldwide from around 9pm. The dramatic climate of the Holy Land, starting from the still open wounds of the October 7 massacre. It is told in the special “Porta a Porta” broadcast on Friday 29 March at 8.30pm on Rai 1. Bruno Vespa's reportage tells of the pain of the survivors and the anguish of those waiting for the return of the hostages. In a present marked by military operations within the Gaza Strip, by the suffering of the Palestinian people, by the challenge of settler settlements, the dream of peace seems to be increasingly receding.
