United Autosports has revealed its first crew it will field at the 2024 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The Anglo-American team has secured an invitation to the LMP2 PRO/AM Class for the Oreca #23, as well as a place for the #22 for the 92nd edition of the race held at the Circuit de la Sarthe on 12-16 June.
Compared to the first draft of the entry list, Filipe Albuquerque has been moved to #23 of PRO/AM together with Ben Hanley and Ben Keating, forming a crew that will undoubtedly be among the very favorites for the final victory, also at a general level of the category.
“Bringing together the experience, skill and determination of not one, but three proven Le Mans winners is an incredible thrill as we prepare for our debut in the LMP2 Pro/Am class,” says United CEO Richard Dean.
“Le Mans is always exciting, never easy, but with this driver line-up, we are making our intentions very clear.”

Keating also agreed: “The Pro/Am line-up in LMP2 looks very strong with a lot of winners behind the wheel. It's really fun for me. I'm looking forward to this challenge with United Autosports, Filipe and Ben. We all have a lot of experience and this makes the difference in this race.”
Hanley is also enthusiastic: “It's fantastic to go to Le Mans again. The race is always difficult, but with our line-up and the team's history, we will aim for victory.”
Albuquerque comments: “Another year, another Le Mans with United Autosports! It's just fantastic, I'm delighted to be racing with this great team with whom I've been competing in the event for the last eight years. I raced alongside Ben Hanley when we were in go-karts and now we meet again.”
“And what about Ben Keating: he's an LMP2 superstar, he definitely has more kilometers than me! And he knows Le Mans very well. He has one more victory than me! I have immense respect for him and his desire to continue push more and more. I'm excited, let's go win.”
Now we are waiting to see what the crew of #22 will be, given that among the names previously indicated there was also that of Nico Pino, who however will be engaged in the LMGT3 Class on United's McLaren.
