Phone (2a): the official announcement of Nothing finally arrives with prices and features

Today Nothing announced the arrival of its new Phone (2a), a device that fits into the brand's family, bringing many very interesting innovations.

The device, which had already been talked about in the past, will be available from March 12, and will be sold in denominations 8GB/128GB (for €349) And 12GB/256GB (for €399).

Technical features

As for the features of this smartphone, we will have a Dimensity 7200 Pro processor, designed in collaboration with MediaTekwhich combined with a 20 GB RAM (with RAM Booster technology) and with 8 cores (clock speed up to 2.8 GHz), manages to be the 13% more powerful than Phone (1)with energy consumption reduced by 10%.

As a battery we will have one 5,000 mAh able to guarantee 2 days of use on a full charge, compatible with 45W fast charging (capable of bringing it to 50% in 20 minutes), while for the camera we can rely on a 50MP dual powered by the TrueLens Engine, equipped with an Ultra XDR system developed with Google for shots in RAW format.

As for the display, we will have a 6.7 inch AMOLED with a peak brightness of 1,300 nits and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Everything will be protected by Gorilla Glass 5, with even thinner edges (and the brand's iconic transparent frame, with 26 individually manageable LEDs).

The ecological approach of the device is also very important: the Nothing Phone (2a) will have a very low carbon footprint, alone 52 kg of CO2 emittedand will use 100% recycled materials such as aluminium, tin and copper, while over 50% of the plastic parts will come from sustainable sources.

Artificial Intelligence with Perplexity

Nothing then decided to integrate it into its new Phone (2a) Perplexity: those who purchase the smartphone between 5 and 19 March will receive up to 1 year of Perplexity Pro, a service that allows you to receive targeted answers thanks to artificial intelligence, simplifying daily use.

This search engine will allow you to ask precise questions and receive accurate answersthanks to its conversational interface and its adaptation to the interests of the smartphone owner.

Together with the Phone (2a), Nothing today also launches the Neckband Pro50dB hybrid ANC device (which will be available on a limited basis outside India) and the Budsearphones with ANC that will arrive all over the globe.
