At least this is what was reported by Jeff Grubbnow famous VentureBeat journalist who reported having received information on a new project related to Titanfall in development at Respawn, but which would not be a real new regular chapter.
“Ok, look, it's not Titanfall 3, but it seems to be about the Titans, in some way,” Grubb reported, speaking of the new project that seems to be in development at Respawn, evidently connected to the same reference universe to which it is Apex Legends is also connected.
A novelty from the director of the first two Titanfall
It seems to be a project that has passed the prototype phase and is therefore moving towards actual development, by a team under the guidance of the director Steve Fukudawho had already emerged in the rumor mill in 2023 as being responsible for a new game for Respawn.
