A few days after the launch of version 1.0 of Last Epochthe action RPG from Eleventh Hour Games has attracted many players to its servers, so much so that a few hours ago on Steam a peak of well was recorded 200,000 concurrent users.
To be precise, a few minutes ago the game reached 205,819 users connected simultaneously according to SteamDB, with the numbers most likely continuing to rise over the course of the weekend. Furthermore, it is currently the sixth most played title on Steambehind Palworld and just above Helldivers 2, the two revelation games of this early 2024.
For comparison, before leaving early access, Last Epoch hovered under 20,000 concurrent players. In short, the engagement numbers are truly impressive, but at the same time those of the reviews cannot say the same. After the launch the fact only 63% of the ratings are positivewith users complaining of server problems, probably due to the large number of users who are connecting these days.
What is Last Epoch?
Launched on Steam Early Access in 2019, Last Epoch is a action RPG with isometric view where players face hordes of demons and monsters of various kinds in a campaign that can be tackled solo or in co-op in which you travel between the past, present and future.
One of the peculiar features of the game is the freedom to customize the builds. The 5 classes present at launch can access three different specializations and there are over 20 branches of passive skills and over 120 skills, each of which can be customized by modifying for example the damage, the element, the duration, the cost and so on .
