Barwell Motorsport will continue its adventure in the GT World Challenge Europe in 2024 as the standard bearer of Lamborghini Squadra Corse.
In fact, there will be two Huracán GT3 EVO2s fielded by the English team, which presented the livery and crews for the SRO Motorsports Group series as it attacks the Sprint Cup and Endurance Cup.
In collaboration with the Sant'Agata Bolognese company, the official driver Sandy Mitchell will arrive to captain the line-up of car #78, which for the short races will have Rob Collard as its second competitor, while for the endurance ones there will be Till Bechtolsheimer and Antoine Doquin with the Scotsman from Toro, ready to support the team also in British GT.

“This year will be very busy, but I can't wait to get started; racing in all three series with Barwell will be a great thing, because having the same team around you, event after event, will definitely help us achieve progress the car,” comments Mitchell.
“It's also fantastic to be back with Rob, an exceptional driver and with whom we have already achieved a lot of satisfaction together. Let's hope we can continue like this this season too.”
Bechtolsheimer is instead on a new adventure after having been practically always in IMSA: “Since all my sportscar races have taken place in the United States, I am extremely excited to have the opportunity to race on some of the greatest circuits in Europe”.
“The car, the circuits and the GTWC format will all be new to me, but I find myself collaborating with one of the best teams on the grid and with two fantastic drivers in Sandy and Antoine. I can't wait to start the season” .

Gabriel Rindone, Champion of the Super Trofeo AM, is ready to make his debut on the #72 Lamborghini, together with Patrick Kujala, while for the Endurance Cup we are waiting to understand who will be the driver to complete the Bronze Cup trio.
“It's fantastic to confirm our European plans and return to having two cars for the full GTWC season: we can count on great competitiveness with both our cars and I believe we have all the ingredients to fight for the title with both the cars”, underlines the Team Principal, Mark Lemmer, beaming.
“Till and Gabriel have already demonstrated their speed and ability, having already won in other major series. With Patrick and Sandy we have two proven PRO drivers who have won races with both us and Lamborghini, and then we add young Antoine for a excellent mix.”
“We know it will be tough, but we can't wait to accompany Till and Gabriel on the amazing journey that is the GTWC. Additionally, they will be able to experience the incredible experience of the 24 Hours of Spa in what will be the event's Centenary year : it will be the icing on the cake.”
