A total of 21 puppies of different ages and sizes were rescued this weekend from a home in the Gustavo A. Madero mayor's office in Mexico City where they remained overcrowded and in precarious conditions.
Its discovery and subsequent rescue was due to a complaint on social networks where the presence of several “lomitos” in poor condition was reported inside a building on Abundio Street in Colonia Vallejo.
Elements of the Animal Surveillance Brigade (BVA) of the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) and personnel of the Environmental and Territorial Order Prosecutor's Office (PAOT) arrived at the scene, achieving the rescue of 21 canines.

After talking, the owner of the property and person responsible for the canines decided to hand over the 21 dogs, of which 13 were transferred to the facilities of the BVA base in the Xochimilco mayor's office.
While the other nine remaining “lomitos” were taken to the PAOT headquarters where, after the necessary care, they will be put up for adoption.
The man who had them in his care suffers from physical mobility difficulties.
