Epic Games released the 2023 report of theEpic Games Store, which turned out to be generally positive, at least for the overall amount of revenues. Among the numbers, the 950 million dollars spent by gamers stand out, with a +16% compared to the previous year.
Unfortunately, spending on third-party games fell 13% to $310 million. Basically it is Fortnite that continues to produce the majority of revenues.
In terms of users, Epic Games Store has achieved important numbers, reaching 270 million, with a growth of 40 million compared to 2022. The peak of daily active users (DAU) reached 36.1 million, while that of monthly users reached 75 million (+10%).

In the meantime, the store's catalog has been enriched with 1,300 new games, for a total of 2,900 titles. Over the course of the year, the Epic Games Store gave away 86 games, for a total value of $2,055. THE free games they generated 586 million total downloads.
Fortnite it's the stock you're on spent morefollowed by Genshin Impact, Rocket League, Dead Island 2, and Grand Theft Auto V.
Other titles that have made excellent revenues are Hogwarts Legacy, Alan Wake 2, Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria, Red Dead Redemption 2 and FIFA 23.
In the top 20 EA Sports FC 24, Assassin's Creed: Mirage, Cyberpunk 2077, and Honkai: Star Rail also returned.
In 2024, titles such as: Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, Horizon Forbidden West, Judas and Dragon Age: Dreadwolf will be launched in the store. The latter is particularly interesting given that EA has yet to announce its release year.
Additionally, Epic Games Store will add a new download manager, subscription support, and other highly anticipated features later this year. The most interesting news, however, is the plan to launch the Epic Games Store on iOS in Europe, we will see with what results.
