On the sidelines of the presentation of the new Stake F1 team, the driver from Shanghai himself underlined his desire to earn a new contract.
Desire for stability
“For my part, obviously, I'm keeping an eye on what happens this season, to finish the year well with the team – declared Zhou to the microphones of Express Sportscommenting on the silly season opened well in advance by the sensational announcement of Lewis Hamilton's future move to Ferrari – then I'm sure that if my work goes well, I can have a long-term contract with anyone. But obviously my priority is to stay where I am“.
In view of the tests on 21-23 February and what will be the new year, the 24-year-old Chinese expressed words of great confidence, underlining how the new C44 represents a great evolution compared to the car that only finished ninth in the 2023 Manufacturers' standings: “I've already tried it and it's a huge change“, Zhou commented hopefully.
