New helmet
While all the teams are focused on the respective presentations of the new cars and on the first shakedowns in view of the Bahrain tests, which will start on February 21st, Max Verstappen he focused on his own new helmet. The Dutch world champion has revealed the colors with which he will compete this season, revealing a design that he himself defined as a “back to the past“.
'Vintage' design
In fact, the immediate reference is to the design used during his very first years of career, even before his debut in Formula 1 with Toro Rosso. More than the helmet – which retains all the characteristic elements used by the Red Bull star in recent years – what was interesting were the Verstappen's words in the short presentation video accomplished.
Hunting for the fourth star
In fact, the champion from Hasselt has already seemed to be in 'cannibal mode' after having won 19 races out of 22 in 2023. Speaking about the details on the back of the helmet, the Dutchman underlined the presence of the three stars, one for each world title won, and immediately relaunched for next year: “On the back are the three stars. Last year there were two, this year there are three. The hope next year is to show you four“. Opponents are warned.
