Athletics | Camilla Richardsson broke a more than 20-year-old Finnish record

Camilla Richardsson competed in the half marathon in Barcelona.

Camilla Richardson ran a new Finnish record half marathon in Barcelona on Sunday morning. Richardsson's time of 1.09.55 is nine seconds below the former Finnish record.

The previous record, 1.10.04, was Annemari Sandellin in the names and from 1998.

Richardsson finished ninth in the competition. The competition was won by Kenya Joyciline Jekosgei on 1.04.28.

Richardsson now holds the Finnish records for 10,000 meters, marathon and half marathon.
