We are on the first Tuesday of the month, which means that all subscribers to PlayStation Plus will be able to redeem and add to their digital library i PS4 and PS5 games of February 2024 of the Essential tier.
If you missed Sony's announcement last week, here's a recap of this month's new additions:
- Foamstars – PS4 and PS5
- Rollerdrome – PS4 and PS5
- Steelrising – PS5
You will be able to claim the games listed above at no additional cost starting today, February 6th, until March 4, 2024. You can do this via PlayStation Store via browser, console or via the PlayStation mobile app. Once redeemed, the games will be added to your collection and you can access them at any time, as long as you have an active PS Plus subscription of any level. If you were to cancel your subscription and then resubscribe, you will find all the games you have already claimed previously.
New additions for February
Foamstars is one multiplayer shooter in third person which in many ways recalls Splatoon, in which two teams of four players use foam to generate platforms, create slippery areas to move quickly in the arena, defend themselves from enemy attacks or create advantageous positions from which to target enemies. Created by the authors of OlliOlli, Rollerdrome is a single player title that offers a mix between shooter and skating , in which the player must face intense and adrenaline-filled fights inside arenas using both firearms and tricks and evolutions on skates. It is a very interesting shooter and one that, as explained in our review of Rollerdrome, you should definitely try.
Last, but not least, Steelrising is a action RPG in development at Spiders studios, authors of Greedfall 1 & 2 and Technomancer. Set in an alternative steampunk-style version of Paris in 1789, in the midst of the French Revolution, in the game we will take on the role of Aegis, a mechanical automaton and bodyguard of Queen Marie-Antoinette who will have the aim of eliminating Louis XVI and his army of androids who are terrorizing the city.
