The governor of the Kursk region, Roman Starovoyt, announced a missile threat in Zheleznogorsk and the Khomutovsky district. He called on residents of the Russian region to take shelter in their Telegram-channel.
“The public warning system has been launched. If you are at home, you need to take shelter in rooms without windows with solid walls: in the hallway, bathroom, pantry. If you are on the street, go into the nearest building, underground passage or parking lot,” Starovoit wrote.
A few minutes later the governor stated on ending the missile threat in the region.
Earlier, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) shelled the Kursk region on February 4. There were five arrivals in total; a woman was injured during the attack on the village of Tetkino, Glushkovsky district.
