The president of Argentina, Javier Milei, began this Monday his second official trip as president of the South American country, in which he will visit Israel, in the middle of the war in the Gaza Strip; Italy, where he will meet the prime minister, Giorgia Meloni; and The Vatican, where he will be received by the pope.
Milei began his trip at 2 pm (local time), when the commercial plane that took him from the Ministerio Pistarini International Airport in Ezeiza (province of Buenos Aires) to Rome, where the presidential delegation will have a stopover before boarding another flight, departed. towards Tel Aviv (Israel).
On his visit to Israel, The president will be accompanied by the chancellor, Diana Mondino; the general secretary of the Presidency and sister of the president, Karina Milei; and the designated ambassador to Israel, Rabbi Axel Wahnish.
Already on Tuesday, Milei will travel to Jerusalem, where he will visit the Wailing Wall, one of the sacred places of Judaism, as confirmed by official sources.
The president will visit the Kotel tunnels and will pray with Rabbi Wahnish, a person of the president's greatest confidence.

Also on Tuesday, the Argentine president will meet with his Israeli counterpart, Isaac Herzog, at his official residence in Jerusalem.
The next day, Milei will hold a meeting with Israeli businessmen and with the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, main leader of the Israeli offensive against the Gaza Strip after the attacks on several Jewish settlements by the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas, last October 7.
