In a video, governor Romeu Zema, deputy Nikolas Ferreira and senator Cleitinho say they are in favor of the right to choose
The federal deputy Nikolas Ferreira (PL-MG) shared a video with the governor of Minas Gerais, Romeo Zema (New), and the senator Cleitinho (Republicanos-MG) stating that, in the State, “no student will be prevented from studying due to vaccination”. Classes in state public education in Minas Gerais began this Monday (5.Feb.2024).
In the video, the deputy declared that the 3 are brought together for the right of students from Minas Gerais to choose. “Education and freedom thank you”wrote Nikolas in his profile on X (ex-Twitter). Cleitinho said that, despite being “in favor of science and the vaccine”they value students’ choice.

Since January 1st, vaccination against Covid-19 in children aged 6 months to 5 years has been part of the National Vaccination Calendar. The measure was announced by Ministry of Health at the end of October 2023.
